There are a lot of smartphones present in the market and BlackBerry Bold 9900 is a good competitor. RIM just revealed its 3 new model including a couple of full screen verities. BlackBerry Bold 9900 is a standard BlackBerry and comes with a hard QWERTY keyboard with a landscape screen.
Each new version of the Blackberry devices tend to look little smoother with a refined look. It has all sleek black plastic & brushed stainless steel and claiming to the thinnest BlackBerry yet with 10.5 mm. The handset appearing considerably larger than the previous BlackBerry device, specially in 2 areas – Screen & Keyboard.
BlackBerry Bold 9900 features a 2.8 inch TFT touchscreen having resolution of 640×480 pixels and comes with much sharper edges & bolder colors. The QWERTY keyboard is as usual, very easy to use and comes with angled buttons which are easy to find under the thumbs, bright backlighting along with well judged feedback. Even the numerical keys are arranged in keypad information and it makes them easier to reach with one thumb.
BlackBerry Bold 9900 is running on the latest version of BlackBerry Operating system. The handset also supports NFC, latest Android incarnation and also offers secure payment via your mobile phone. There is a BlackBerry Messenger 6 which is a latest version of RIM’s instant messaging services. You can also chat to your friends within certain apps including some games.
BlackBerry Bold 9900 is powered by a single core 1.2 GHz snapdragon processor which is really fast. There is a 5 megapixel camera which comes with 4x Digital Zoom, auto-focus, image stabilization, Geo-tagging, face detection and an LED Flash. The camera has resolution of 2560×1920 pixels and does a good job with realistic color balance & sharply defined images.
BlackBerry Bold 9900 has 8GB of internal memory in which you can store your personal data. Plus, there is a 2GB micro SD card slot and supported up to 32GB. You can easily download apps from Apps world and look pretty decent as compared to Android or Apple. There is a Social feeds app which brings tighter your social networking updates into a single stream.
