BlackBerry Torch 9810 is the successor of the last year 9800 and comes with improved screen, faster processor and the very latest iteration of BlackBerry Operating system, version 7. It is one of the big hitters of the new range and a perfect combination of touchscreen & sliding out keyboard.

BlackBerry Torch 9810 features a screen which makes it a proper leading smartphone with an upgrade to WVGA 800×480 pixels. The screen looks vivid or colorful, although some peoples find it small for watching movies or browsing the Internet. There is a 5 megapixel camera and also supports auto focus, LED flash, geo-tagging, continuous auto function, face detection & image stabilization.

The camera is certainly bright enough to illuminate even the darkest of scenes and also act as a video light too. The camera also has impressive 720p video recording capabilities. BlackBerry Torch 9810 is running on BlackBerry 7 version of Operating system. BlackBerry is claiming that a new OS is more of a little evolution than w whole step change.

BlackBerry Torch 9810 boosts a 1.2 GHz processor which is speedy enough. The mobile phone supports standard battery Li-Ion 1270 mAh battery and the battery life is better as compare to other devices. The internal memory is 8GB with a 768MB of RAM and also there is a micro SD card slot which extended up to 32GB. It measures 11x62x14.6 mm and a bit heavy just 161 gram in weight.

Conclusion: BlackBerry Torch 9810 is pretty much the same version of the phone we saw last year. The enhanced processor or improved screen resolution are great and makes internet browsing & general operation much more like other leading devices. The camera is adequate with out being stunning and decent enough smartphone. But it lacks when it comes to an Internet browser & the chassis design.
