Samsung Galaxy S2 is one of the best smartphone leading to the lists of top smartphones. The other brand such as Nokia, Samsung, Sony Ericsson tried to make devices to compete with it but none of them succeeded. Even the Apple iPhone 4 is not up to the standard to compete with Galaxy S2. Recently, Apple released its new device ‘Apple iPhone 4S’ and comes with number of updated features & specs.
The question which one is worthy winner, Samsung Galaxy S2 & Apple iPhone 4S? Which has better specs? So, let’s check out the both of smartphones.
1. Design: We all know that design is a matter of taste. Some people like huge, heavy & rugged device while other prefer light & tiny devices. So, in term of design, we can not say which one is better, Samsung Galaxy S2 & Apple iPhone 4S. Samsung Galaxy S2 is a tiny phone, slim & light and the weight is 116 gram with battery.
While Apple iPhone 4S is not much different than its predecessor in term of design & size. The display is smaller as compare to Galaxy S2.
2. Display: When Samsung Galaxy S2 launched, it had the best screen- 4.3 inch super AMOLED plus touchscreen with display resolution of 800×480 pixels. Apple iPhone 4 comes with a better display resolution 960×640 pixels. That does not means the Galaxy screen is outdated now and the screen is very bright even all the colors are eye popping or very beautiful. It is great for watching videos and playing HD games.
The display of Apple iPhone 4S due to its high resolution is batter than Galaxy S2. So, in this field clear winner is Apple iPhone 4S with its superb display.
3. CPU: Samsung Galaxy S2 is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual core ARM Cortex A9 processor which is enough powerful. Web browsing is very quick even via Wi-Fi network and you can play even heavy games on Samsung flagship.
Apple iPhone 4S uses a 1 GHz dual core ARM Cortex A9 processor and enough powerful to complete a task. It also offers great graphical acceleration. In this, the trophy goes to Samsung Galaxy S2.
4. Camera: Samsung Galaxy S2 has an 8 megapixel camera with auto focus & LED Flash and has resolution of 3264×2448 pixels. You can record videos up to 1080p with a frame of 30fps. While Apple iPhone 4S also features an 8 megapixel camera and it can take 3264×2448 pixels and has impressive 1080p video recording capabilities. Plus, there is a CMOS illuminated sensors which is 73 percent more effective and 30 percent faster than before.
The secondary 2 megapixel camera of Samsung Galaxy S2 is better than VGA camera of Apple iPhone 4S. The secondary camera does not play a big role here and for the rear facing ones, both of the devices are equally good.
5. OS: Like, thinking of the two people can not be same, so it’s good not to compare two Operating systems when both are great with their own. Samsung Galaxy S2 is running on Android OS and you can easily access to the Android market. Apple iPhone 4S uses IOS Operating system and very easy to use.
The OS does not make it an interesting choice, the most interesting feature is Siri- the special program designed to help the users give command to the device, ask questions and even send messages. In this, Apple iPhone 4S deserve the prize with its Siri features.
6. Verdict: Samsung Galaxy S2 and Apple iPhone 4S, both are good smartphone with their assets and drawback. Galaxy S2 is faster due to its processor. Apple iPhone 4S has better display and Siri catch the attention of everyone.
