UK market is the first region where Research In Motion (RIM) has decided to launch its latest device Blackberry 3G 9105.

 
Pearl 3G is the company's first mobile which does not have QWERTY keyboard. The device contains standard numerical keypad and is one of the smallest smartphones in the country. However in US, company will launch this device with hybrid keypad.
 
The device is equipped with 2.5 inch screen with a resolution of 360 x 400 pixels. In the internet facilities it allows Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. The device has a battery backup of 4 days.
 
The appearance of phone is unique in its series. Due to absence of QWERTY keypad, it has a narrower look and that is why it is easier to hold and use.
 
The company has tried to attract both business users as well as normal users, and for that it had displayed few buttons on the top along with 3.5mm headphone jack next to the micro-USB port. The port can be used for charging as well as for transferring the data.
 
The device is packed with an optical track pad , which displays three rows on the top on a single strip of plastic while the fourth row is split with the key '0' in the centre.
 
The device supports the latest version of OS called as V5.0 of the Blackberry OS. The company put forward number of applications to its users through Blackberry App World store. It also offers push email system along with support for multitasking.
 
The device has a master inbox which offers good social networking connectivity. The cell phone is decorated with 3.2 megapixel camera with LED flash and auto focus. The camera enables to capture pictures with rich looking colors.
