The roadmap for a number of high-end smartphones has been placed online, and contains a number of surprising handsets.

Mobile deals comparison site Omio has published the look at 2010's hottest handsets, complete with UK release dates.

However, it seems the HTC Gold UK release date will be in November, which would be a little behind the expected October release of the first Windows Phone 7 devices.

Stylish stylings

Other intriguing handsets include the Nokia E7, which will combine the consumer-friendly stylings of the N-Series with the messaging power of the E-Series handsets from the Finnish firm.

Apparently sporting a tilting screen and aluminium chassis, could this be the much-rumoured N9 we've been hearing so much of recently?

And the most spurious rumour of the lot: the Samsung i8700 Cetus - mostly because we know very little about it.

It looks likely to be a big hitter though, likely landing with the Bada platform, so fingers crossed this is another Samsung phone packing in a ridiculous amount of technology.
