Droid X die-hard lovers may be pleased to know that Motorola has planned to launch a successor to Droid X that will be an Android Smartphone. This will be call as second generation of Droid and will feature power packed with the latest Dual-core Processor bringing right up tp date with other upcoming motorola’s smartphones such as Atrix 4G and Droid Bionic.
This news came to us from Zach Epstein, at BGR. Source from Hot Hardware and comes from a so far uncomfirmed report about a new, improved version. It is reported that Droid X2 is very impressive and much larger than the large Droid X with some amazing features like 1GHz Tegra 2 dual-core processor and improved display size of 4.3 inches with resolution of 540 x 960.
There are some speculations going about this phone that it will run on Android 2.2 Froyo operating system.whch can be updated. It is expected that it will be an 8MP camera with 720p HD video recording. Currently, the phone has got weird code name which is “Daytona” that could change. As of now, release date or the price date is not yet known but it seems that it will be carried by Verizon.
There are some reports by Electronista that the phone will look like the original Droid X, though it is also said that it may be a variant with silver housing which could even have 1.2GHz processor.
